About Radar (≈90 words)

Radar brings private messaging and self-custodial Bitcoin together in one app. Built on the Signal protocol for end-to-end encrypted chats and the Bitcoin Lightning network for instant payments, Radar lets you send sats as easily as you send a text — no switching apps, no copy-pasting addresses, and no handing your keys to anyone. Your money stays in your custody, on your device. Radar is made by the team behind Cake Wallet, the open-source crypto wallet trusted by 2 million people. Available on iOS and Android.

One-liner

Radar — chats and sats in one place. Private messaging and self-custodial Bitcoin, together.

Guidelines

Using the logo

Do
  • Give the logo clear space — at least the height of the radar dot on every side.
  • Use the white logo on dark or photographic backgrounds; orange or espresso on light ones.
  • Reach for espresso (#3E281A) instead of black for dark text and shapes.
  • Write “Radar” with a capital R, and “sats” lowercase.
Don't
  • Recolor the logo, or add gradients, shadows, or other effects.
  • Stretch, squash, rotate, or otherwise distort it.
  • Place it on busy or low-contrast backgrounds.
  • Recreate the wordmark in another typeface, or use pure black as a brand color.

Palette

Colors

Radar’s palette is warm: orange and brown on cream. Avoid pure black — brown tones are preferred. Click a swatch to copy its hex.

Type

Typeface

Onest

Radar is set in Onest, an open-source typeface. The wordmark and headlines use the Semibold weight with tight, −5% letter-spacing. Onest is free to use under the SIL Open Font License.
